The position we are advertising is based within our Essex factory, where we boast state of the art machinery which enables us to manufacture everything on site.

Job Description

An excellent opportunity has become available for a trainee machine operator to join our friendly manufacturing factory team. We are seeking an individual who takes pride in their work to achieve our very high-quality standards, whilst meeting production deadlines. Close attention to detail is required for product quality assurance and consistency.

Previous experience in a factory environment and a history of working with machines within the joinery industry would be beneficial, but all of which are not essential, as full training will be provided if needed A

Key Duties

• Working with our experienced machinist to obtain knowledge on operations
• Learning how to run, maintain & programme CNC & Conturex machines
• Reading & understanding of technical drawings over time
• Assisting with loading & unloading machines where needed
• Reporting any defects in production to senior members of staff

Requirements:

• A good work ethic & a drive to succeed
• Responsible, reliable & conscientious individual
• Experience within the joinery industry a preference (but not essential)
• Warm & friendly approach
• Hardworking individual, able to work alone or as part of a team
• Good command of spoken & written English

Hours of Work

• 06:00am to 14:30pm Monday to Friday
