Job Description

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Window and Door Glazier to join our friendly manufacturing factory team. We are seeking an individual who takes pride in their work to achieve our very high-quality standards, whilst meeting production deadlines. Close attention to detail is required for product quality assurance and consistency.

Previous experience of working in the window & door industry (Timber, PVC, or Aluminium) glazing various types of windows with a silicone process, would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.


Key Duties

  • Cutting glazing beads and bars to suit requirements
  • Fitting glazing tape, glass, beads & bars to various windows & doors
  • Silicone sealing units where required
  • Using required hand & power tools to complete tasks above
  • Maintaining stock of glazing tape, packers, pins, fittings & screws
  • Reporting any defects in glazing units to senior members of staff
  • Assistance with cutting & fitting gaskets & seals in frames when needed
  • Quality checking of finished products
  • Assisting with wrapping of finished products
  • Assisting with the loading & unloading of lorries.
  • Assistance in other departments as required.

Hours of Work

  • 00 to 14:30pm Monday to Friday
