Class & character

This orangery extension on a character property in London has given the homeowners an incredible open plan space to cook, dine, study, entertain and relax in; a “living” room in every sense of the word.

Not a hint of conservatory furniture in sight, this is a real room like any other in the house, used day in day out whatever the weather. The fireplace provides a warm and cosy ambience throughout autumn & winter, whilst the summer days can be spent with the French doors open on to the established garden.

Owners of two Tibetan spaniels who like to keep a eye on the outdoors, these customers decided to replace the traditional door panels with glass to give their pets their own views of the garden.

Westbury also incorporated a small wine store into the new building design, utilising an otherwise wasted space between the kitchen and boundary wall to build an additional room accessible from the orangery. This project is a great example of the truly bespoke nature of a Westbury Garden Room.
