An orangery design featuring sliding sash windows and french doors

Suburban London Sanctuary

Open Gallery

Small spaces can be transformed into amazing places. This shaded corner in a lower ground basement of a London town house housed a lifeless kitchen; it required space and light to bring it back to life and make the most of the available space. Adding an orangery brings a fluidity of space extending the living area and providing a new open plan kitchen with a place to relax as well as eat.

This was all greatly enhanced by natural light and a seamless connection to the patio and garden. Light coloured limestone used on the floor will reflect light to the back of the room.

  • We are absolutely delighted with the orangery and would like to thank you all for a very high quality job plus very good service.
