Orangery extension with double folding stacking doors overlooking stunning garden

Spacious Timber Orangery

This classic period country house required something special to fulfil the clients’ need to incorporate a large kitchen, dining and informal seating area.
The Orangery was sympathetically designed to include deep fascias with dentil blocking used to mimic the house’s own eaves. Both creating substantial weight to the new building.

The considerable roof lantern provides ample natural light to this spacious and comfortable room. Double folding stacking doors open up a vast aperture leading out to the sculptured gardens and a welcoming patio area. Careful consideration was paid to the matching of bricks, pointing and paint finish, in order to blend the new building with the old.

  • We just wanted to express, with our garden room now virtually reaching completion, how delighted with the results we are and how it's been a pleasure to deal with Westbury throughout.
