New England Style Garden Room Extension

Built within a conservation area, the owners of this striking Georgian style property wanted to create a welcoming living space in their home. They wanted an elegant room where they could relax in at the end of a busy day while taking in the views of their delightful garden.

Focusing on creating a perfectly balanced extension that would complement the properties’ distinctive architectural features, we designed and built a New England style timber Garden Room which included a kitchen, dining area and sitting room. By opening out the existing kitchen, the whole room now flows into a generous living space, perfectly connecting to the rest of the home.

Built to exceptional standards, the new Garden Room extension features a magnificent part-glazed vaulted ceiling, which helps to draw the eye whilst creating a bright and open room with a warm and inviting feel. Georgian style multi-pane windows match the existing home and incorporates two sets of double French doors, which open out onto the beautiful garden and provide views that can be enjoyed all year round.

Outside, the Garden Room is finished in Stiffkey Blue which stylishly complements the properties’ weather boarded exterior. While inside, the clean Westbury White joinery gives a fresh and clean feel to the interiors.

This Hertfordshire Garden Room is a stunning example of how our architectural designer’s attention to detail can completely transform the whole look and feel of a property, providing a space that can be enjoyed for years to come.
