In order to bring new team members into the fray, we recently held a company-wide team building day, with the help of local training and consultancy company, Iluminar

Great team dynamics are what make for a great company; with everyone working together enthusiastically towards the same goal, there’s no doubt that the customer benefits from both product quality and customer service which excel.

Over the past year, Westbury Garden Rooms has seen fantastic company growth and we are exceptionally pleased with the expansion we have made, bringing in new team members along with new state-of-the-art technology which has helped us to realise our manufacture and design aspirations.

In order to bring new team members into the fray, we recently held a company-wide team building day, with the help of local training and consultancy company, Iluminar. Splitting into five teams, we all took part in team building activities such as a photo treasure hunt, parachute making and raft building. All of these were designed to help with communication and problem solving skills, alongside a little dash of competitiveness to keep us thinking quickly and on our toes!

It is through coming together as a group and working together as team which helps us function better as a company and ultimately become better at understanding and exceeding our clients desires. Although this fun-filled day was a break from the norm for everyone, it is partly through activities like this that we aim to continually improve business performance, meet objectives, gain invaluable skills and achieve on-going improvement, together.

It was a fantastic day, with everyone getting involved and enjoying the healthy competition, and as it came to the final activity it was close between all the teams! In the end Yellow team took 1st place, Grey 2nd and Blue came in at 3rd. All in all, everyone learnt a great deal of new skills demonstrating Westbury’s company ethos.
