We’re delighted to announce recent promotions for two of our senior staff members in recognition of the vital role that they play within our daily business operations.
Like a building project needs a robust foundation on which to stand, a business needs a strong team in order to continually stay at the forefront of its industry.
Westbury enjoyed strong growth in 2017 and as a result, we needed to make some adjustments to the team in order to continue that success. We’re delighted to announce recent promotions for two of our senior staff members in recognition of the vital role that they play within our daily business operations and to ensure they are able to benefit from continued career progression.
Andy Butler’s 13th year with Westbury
Thirteen may be considered an unlucky number for some, but this is not the case for our recently promoted Andy Butler. Previously Master Builder by name and master builder by nature (clients often refer to him as ‘Ronseal’), he started working with us on a contracts basis initially and then as a fitter from 2007. We’re now thrilled to announce he has been appointed Operations Director.
Andy has long been at the coalface and now will now take on further responsibility for overseeing construction works and ensuring all build projects are delivered on time and in line with Westbury’s exacting standards.
Trevor Roche promoted to Manufacturing Director
Trevor is Westbury through and through: bar two short interludes, Trevor has been at Westbury since 1987 and has worked in various departments including processing and CAD and more recently as the factory manager. We’re delighted that he has now accepted the position of Manufacturing Director. Core to Westbury’s values is that we manufacture each and every one of our products on site in our factory in Essex – which is adjacent to our head office, where the design team are housed. Trevor will be the linchpin in ensuring our state of the art factory, which includes the latest joinery profiling machinery, is run efficiently and effectively, to bring our client’s designs to life.
Westbury takes great care in building the right team in order to deliver its superior products and service to customers. In return for their dedication and hard work, we are committed to ensuring that all employees, whether in the office, the factory or the field, have a clear career path, with capacity for development – even in the most senior roles. In taking this approach, we are proud to have been recognised with a Silver Investors In People accreditation for the second time.
Should you be considering a glazed timber extension, windows or doors, do remember that you’ve got to deal with the company and its people for many, many months during the design, planning, build and handover process. We’re hugely proud of our team and if you’d like to explore whether they could be the ones to make your ideas a reality, please come and visit us in our HQ in Essex or in our showroom in London.
Congratulations and good luck for your new roles Andy & Trevor. #WeAreWestury
