3. Belle Vue Park, Newport

An extensive restoration project brought the park buildings and original planting scheme back to life in 2003. Based on the original Victorian designs, the two conservatories were designed by Westbury Garden Rooms and include glass lanterns and gables which highlight the spectacular height and space. Ideal for those looking for a quirky yet beautiful venue, Petersham Nurseries is a lovely greenhouse that perfectly lends itself to fairy-tale, botanical themed weddings. What could be more dreamy than a reception amongst the flowers?

5. Syon Park, London

7. Kibble Palace, Glasgow

Nestled within the city’s Botanic Gardens, the Kibble Palace is one of the most prestigious iron and glass structures remaining from the Victorian era. It’s home to a marvellous collection of marble statues, along with exotic plants from around the world. The national collection of Australasian tree ferns have been growing there for the last 120 years.

8. Secret Herb Garden, Midlothian

This charming nursery on the outskirts of Edinburgh is ideal if you’re looking to have a small, intimate wedding. A truly idyllic location, the Secret Herb Garden is surrounded by streams and hedgerows. As its name suggests, the nursery specialises in growing herbs but they also host Full Moon dinners and weddings with a vintage feel.

This is a lovely venue if you are looking for somewhere private and tranquil. Combermere Abbey is based on the Cheshire and Shropshire border, overlooking a lake and rolling parkland.
