‘Discover design with distinction’ – we look at the new pieces from independent interiors brand Atkin & Thyme
When it comes to independent interior brands, Atkin & Thyme is a true gem. They specialise in fine furniture and home accessories, and their website is a beautiful curation of pieces their team have handpicked from artisans across the world. They specifically work with crafters who only produce limited, low-volume batches, so often customers have to pre-order to avoid disappointment.
The range of pieces at Atkin & Thyme is broad, with plenty of chic sideboards, drinks cabinets and coffee tables to be discovered. Their collections often channel the glamour of the art-deco era, with curved shapes, standout velvet upholstery and brass structures. They certainly don’t shy away from pattern and detail, and A-list interior designers such as LA-based Kelly Wearstler are firm fans.
Atkin & Thyme have plenty of coffee table and side table designs with glass tops, which can look fantastic in a bright, light-filled glazed extension. If you’re considering a glazed extension such as a garden room or orangery for your home, you may find our guide for selecting furniture pieces of interest: Unique furniture pieces for your garden room.
With so many amazing designs, it can be impossible to pick. Here, we share the enticing new pieces coming up over the next month or so, some of which are not even listed on the website yet – be the first to see them!
